Demo Program

This special freeware version of Shape Magic 2 lets you test drive the program for yourself. It has all the features of the full version except as shown in the table below.

Examples of models made using Shape Magic 2 Demo. Table and picture frame are 4-sided polygons (square) and the column and bowl are 5-sided polygons (pentagon). Models imported into Bryce and textures added.

The models you make with Shape Magic 2 Demo are yours to use for non-commercial purposes only. The demo program cannot be sold or given to others without written permission from the author. Feel free to share the link to this page with your friends.

Side View	Up to five sections (top, middle, bottom, top face, bottom face)	Same as full version
Top View	Seven Cross Sections (Round, Polygon, Smooth petals, Rough petals, Half-rough petals, LR Symmetrical, Asymmetrical, Linear)	All cross sections can be tested but only polygons with 3 to 5 sides can be saved.
Special Effects	7 effects (twist, curve, bend 1, bend 2, skew, kink and surface roughness)	Same as full version

Although you can save only a limited number of cross sections, you can create models with the full range of cross sections and view them using the 3D preview feature.

Shape Magic 2 demo has the following requirements:

Windows 95, 98, ME, XP
800 x 600 or higher screen resolution
HyperStudio player (provided with the program)
Quicktime (will be installed with HyperStudio if not already present)
Models are compatible with Bryce 4, 5 and 5.5c; Vue 3 and 4; Poser 4, 5 and 6
Models can be made compatible with Amorphium, Vue 2 and Bryce 3D by first opening them in UVmapper from Steve Cox
